What’s the venue?
sooooo question? why doesnt cam deleurme get the title shot against jeremy?? cam’s beat both jeremy and oren???? and since losing to gary mangat has fought once in a smaller promotion winning a dominant tko win. seems pretty wild not to put cam in.i thought the best possible guys are suposed to fight for titles?
why is battlefeild so against cam deleurme u guys are a bunch of fucking jokes!!!!! coming into vernon why cant you have one of the better fighters on your roster… wait i can tell you why.. jay golshani is a fucking goof! ammy fights are not pro cam can fight whereever the fuck he want u fuckin idiot cant sign ammies to contracts and your comment to cam about not getting a pro fight anywhere???? your fucked buddy get your shit together dont threaten fighters because u cant get him a fight in time…hes not gonna wait forever for u so fuck u jay thats my 2 cents u crooked dana white wannabe fuck!!!!!!
ps cam beat your #1 POUND FOR POUND AMY CHAMP….. WHO THE FUCK RANKS AMMIES IN A PFP SO DONK HOPE U LOSE IT ALL JAY YOUR A FUCKIN DOUCHE I WANNA SEE U IN THE CAGE ONE NIGHT… FUCKIN TWISTER YOUR ARM OFF U FAKE DANA BITCH
wow sorry cam n stu guess one of my drunk buddies got on here lol… guess im sory to jay to lol i love vancouverrrrrrrrrrrrr
cam wanted a “warm up” fight and was offered dee whos tough so he turned it down to fight some guy none of us have ever heard of for some paper championship belt a couple weeks later, cam beat oren a veryy long time ago by a laynpray ud and barely beat jeremy by split decisoun when he was 17 and only had 2 fights, since then hes gone 4-0 including a win over chris day (a much better fighter than cam) while cam has gone 1-1, with a win over…who??? he deserves the shot over oren but he knew the consiquences by taking the other fight right or not, so stop your bitching and ranting about cams wins that happened years ago
Cam beat Oren by “lay and pray” what fight were you watching?? Ask old bcmmafan reporter josh olivera, i believe he counted something like 22 consecutive heavy heavy head shots landing on Oren, but if that’s what lay and pray is to you then yes he did win by that. And as for Chris being “much better than cam” that is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard, have you ever seen cam and chris train? both very evenly matched so not sure how you came up with that, both beat oren, chris lost to kennedy, and they both lost close bouts with mangat.
Just to clarify for ya “Cyprus”, yes I was offered Dee Obaru for bfl 12 and I didnt accecpt because I already had a fight 2 weeks after. The guy I fought may not be very well known to mma scene in bc but he was a 3-0 purple belt from yukon so ya I guess I ‘ducked’ a 1-0 guy to go fight a 3-0 guy. The promotion I fought for was ran very smoothly, ya a little lower budget than battlefield but the guys from warpath sure know how to treat there fighters and not boss them around like they are paid pro fightters that have a signed contract which ammys get none of that. Now if you even watched mine an Orens fight you would see that it wasnt lay n pray. I landed close to 3 dozen hard shots on the ground so obviously I wasnt just laying there. Jeremy vs me was a little closer , why do you think so maybe ppl want that fight to happen ? But what would you know, you just hide behind your keyboard and use fake names.
nice comments/Cam Deleurme ducked Dee Obaru a 1-0 fighter because as he said he didnt have time to train (this fight was offered to him for BFL12/then he went and fought for a title 7 later in a different promotion. Does he deserve a title shot after a move like that, HELL NO, come fight Dee Obaru and get back into title contention/till then he can go defend his belt at the promotion he earned it in but getting a straight title shot without even fighting there before/NICE BELT
Lol how many fights for BFL has Andrew Buckland had?? Yet He’s getting a title shot/ NICE BELT. I think the point that the above poster is trying to make to you guys @ battlefield is that the only fight that should be happening for the belt at 145 should be cam vs jeremy. jeremy has already beaten Oren back at bfl 5, what has he done since then to get the shot? and before oren it was chris day, again somebody jeremy has already beaten. I think ego plays a big part in this one as to why delrume and kennedy aren’t fighting, and im sure that is really the only fight jeremy wants.
I believe the reason cam isn’t getting the shot against jeremy is due to the fact he took another fight with a diff promotion? is that right jay clarify if not cause im sure it will be brought up more.
Its funny how all cowards leave messages on here without their true identity/well airhead here is something for you to think about Andrew Buckland has 25 pro fights/ has been in the cage with 3 former ufc fighters, you are comparing him to an amature fighter/shows you lack of knowledge/and Cam can come back and earn his title shot/till then he can go defend his whatever belt he has won in that promotion/if he wants to manup and come take a real fight in BFL and earn a title shot he is more than welcome too when theres a suitable opponent/
Look as a bjj purple belt and an ammy mma fighter i can tell you from the mouth of big john mcarthy and i quote that bfl is one of the best run and put on ammy shows in north america , with that being said you got a guy like cam great ammy fighter well known etc so if has to wait thats because jay sometimes has trouble finding match ups as guys are at different level in the game he can put him in with a green guy its got to be fair and as i read it he got him a fight with dee obario and if you you tube him and see him drop 3 different guys with 16oz gloves that we were wearing head gear then you would see that cam and dee would be a great scap, so lay off the guy he just trying to match the best guys up to give the fans the best action 4 there dollar.
I’m a little late to the party, but, for what it’s worth, Cam most definitely beat Oren both decisively and with a level of aggression that went well beyond what anyone could call “Lay’n'Pray.” That said, it was also a really decent scrap and Oren was able to hang in there very gamely. I can’t comment on any of the politics as far as Cam’s accepting/rejecting of fights, but it’s pretty clear to most that Cam is an ammy title fight calibre of fighter. Like Jay already said, one tune-up/return fight at most and I believe Cam should be in position to fight for a strap.
Oren is bringing home the belt !
If Warpath runs such a smooth show why don’t they have an opponent for cam to defend his so called belt? I guess its a smooth show when a huge 20 on 20 scrap breaks out in the crowd when cams named is announced as the champ, really safe for all the fans.
Cam is fighting a game Josh Williams, gl Oren.
